About IMID

A diaspora-led
non-profit.

Ikun Amure Medics in Diaspora Inc. (IMID) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, founded by sons and daughters of Ikun Amure-Ekiti, Nigeria, now serving communities across the diaspora and worldwide.

Origin

Born from a
community that

Ikun Amure-Ekiti is a community in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Its sons and daughters built lives across the globe — in medicine, education, business, and public service. IMID exists to channel that diaspora strength back into communities that need it most.

The association is non-political, volunteer-led, and bound by a written constitution that governs how it serves, raises, and accounts for every resource entrusted to it.
